But Will shatters the sophisticated serenity of Bel-Air with his streetwise common sense, much to the dismay of his upper-crust uncle, Philip Banks, Aunt Vivian and three conceited cousins, Carlton, Hilary and Ashley - and even the butler, Geoffrey. Set in the New York editorial offices of the fictional fashion magazine Blush, "Just Shoot Me" follows the lives of Blush's colorful staff, including Maya Gallo (Laura San Giacomo), a serious journalist who is determined to change the magazine's "fluffy" tone despite the efforts of her father, Blush publisher Jack Gallo (George Segal), who remains focused solely on his bottom line and the things he feels women want.
Also on staff are beauty and fashion editor Nina Van Horn (Wendie Malick), a fast-living, neurotic ex-model; Blush's commitment-phobic, in-house photographer, Elliott DiMauro (Enrico Colantoni); and Jack's wisecracking, power-hungry assistant, Dennis Finch (David Spade).

Jonathan Slavin - Byron
James Patrick Stuart - Keith
Premise: Andy (Andy Richter) is a short story writer, who makes his living by working at a huge faceless company in present day Chicago, writing Technical Manuals. In his active, fertile, writer's imagination, we see (and hear as he narrates) the stories of his daily life, as they should be, could be, might be, and even actually how they are.
Andy shares his office with the company's newest employee, and Andy's newest friend, the frail, jumpy, odd, loveable Byron (Jonathan Slavin). Also inhabiting Andy's world is his best friend Keith (James Patrick Stuart), who is "so good looking" that Andy must fight his own "prejudice against the 'attractive,' who seem to get everything they want, unlike ordinary humans." Supervisor Jessica (Paget Brewster) is also Andy's longtime friend and uses her lightening sharp tongue to keep the group out of, or at times, to get the group INTO trouble. The newer receptionist Wendy (Irene Molloy), whom Andy first had a crush on, is dating Keith (somewhat proving Andy's "Attractive Theory").

Cast:
Jason Alexander - George Louis Costanza
Julia Louis-Dreyfus - Elaine Marie Benes (not in pilot)
Michael Richards - Cosmo Kramer
Jerry Seinfeld - Himself
Premise: This is a show about "nothing"; however, for a show about "nothing," this show has many complex plots, sub-plots, is very well written and put together. So much so that until the public caught onto the series, the television critics were responsible for helping to keep it alive. The critics further went on and made the series victorious in every category it was eligible for in the 1st Annual American Television Awards. Seinfeld has also won "a few" Emmy Awards, the George Foster Peabody Award for 1992 and many more.

The series follows the adventures of Greg (newcomer puppet Greg The Bunny), a wide-eyed, innocent bunny puppet. Greg lands his dream job on the long-running children's show, Sweetknuckle Junction, a series populated by neurotic puppets and the humans who both love and abuse them. On and off the set, Greg must rely on the savvy of his human roommate and best friend Jimmy Bender (Seth Green) to navigate the tricky waters of life and Hollywood. Resting on Greg's furry little shoulders are the livelihoods of Jimmy's father -- and Sweetknuckle Junction's blundering executive producer/director -- Gil Bender (Eugene Levy), aggressive network executive Alison Kaiser (Sarah Silverman), the show's human co-stars -- Junction Jack (Bob Gunton) and Dottie Sunshine (Dina Waters) -- and fellow lead puppet actors Warren 'The Ape' Demontague and Count Blah (playing themselves).

Facing a possible jail term, Norm lucked out and was sentenced to community service as a social worker. However, his fresh perspective and lack of patience for bureaucracy don't always go over well with his by-the-book co-workers.

Enter Laurie (Laurie Metcalf) and Danny (Ian Gomez) who are Norm's co-workers and best friends. Both are caring, meticulous, highly skilled workers who are devoted to helping others work out their problems. Outside the office, both Laurie and Danny have their own issues to deal with, including love, friendships and relationships. Along with new officemate Molly (Amy Wilson), the group must navigate their way through office politics, not the least of which entails dealing with their lackadaisical boss, Mr. Denby (Max Wright). Through it all, Norm's unique and refreshing attitude causes him to bend--if not break--the rules of the system, always with hilarious and utterly unpredictable results.

Family Matters

Cast:
Orlando Brown - 3J (1996-1998)
Judyann Elder - Harriette Winslow (eps. 207-215)
Jaimee Foxworth - Judy Winslow (1989-1993)
Telma Hopkins - Rachel Crawford (1989-1995)
Valerie Jones - Judy Winslow (pilot only)

Michelle Thomas - Myra Monkhouse (1993-1998)
Reginald VelJohnson - Carl Winslow
Jaleel White - Steve Urkel (1990-1998)
Kellie Shanygne Williams - Laura Winslow
Premise: Family Matters focused on Harriet Winslow (the elevator operator from the Chronicle) and her family of sorts. Carl Winslow, her husband, was a dutiful cop, and a gruff and lovable father to three kids: Eddie Winslow, the rebel son; Laura Winslow, the smart-ass daughter; and cute little Judy Winslow. They had opened their home to Harriet's sister, Rachel Crawford and her little baby son Richie, and in the very first episode, Carl had to open his home to his cool and streetwise mother, Estelle Winslow, whether he wanted to or not. Everything was going along just fine until one day, Steve Urkel, the inventive nerd, barged into their home and eventually, into their hearts. Steve had a killer crush on Laura, but she would never give him the time of day. Steve Urkel was intended to be a one-shot appearance, but his popularity with the fans won him the number-one spot as America's favorite nerd.

As the show went on, the characters and the stories evolved. Richie grew from a little baby into a rambunctious and impressionable little boy. The stories started revolving around Steve and his incredible inventions, which became the greatest sight gags on the show. In almost every episode, Steve ends up breaking furniture, windows, and Carl's patience. Eddie and Laura each had best buddies to hang out with: Eddie had dim-witted yet lovable Waldo Faldo; Laura had faithful and true-blue gal pal Maxine. The greatest mystery of Family Matters is Judy and Rachel's sudden disappearancefrom the show, but Rachel make guest appearances whenever possible.

To stop Steve from chasing her, Laura matched him up with perky-yet-pushy Myra Monkhouse. Steve loved Myra physically, but his emotions will always go to Laura. Eddie had his share of steady girlfriends, and even he had an Urkel chasing him- Myrtle Urkel, Steve's cousin from Biloxi (Jaleel White also). Every so often, Steve uses one of his inventions to turn himself into debonair, irresistable lover Stefan Urquelle or karate hero Bruce Lee to draw Laura closer to him, much to Myra's chagrin. The Winslows welcome Steve into their home when Steve's family went to Russia. Pretty soon, Richie hung out with 3J, a tough, streetwise kid always running from the children's home. The Winslows then adopted 3J as one of their kids, as they did with Steve.

In the final season, Family Matters, along with Step by Step, moved to CBS, and Steve slowly matured from the annoying nerd that he used to be. This was when Laura started falling in love with Steve, and Myra got kicked to the curb, but she vowed to get her "Stevie-kins" back. Also, the original Harriette, JoMarie Peyton Noble, had left the show in mid-season and Judyann Elder took her role. Steve and Laura got engaged, but they never had a wedding because CBS dropped the ax on the show. But, nevertheless, Family Matters had a great successful run and is one of the longest running African-American comedies ever, next to The Jeffersons and The Cosby Show.

As owner of the newsstand in the Neidermeyer Building, he is out to prove himself, and dreams of becoming a successful businessman. He's also good-looking and knows his way around the world of dating. But suave as he may be, Shawn is looking for real love, not a conquest or flavor of the week.
One year younger and the baby of the family, Marlon is the other side of the coin. Marlon takes life as it comes, living for the moment and always looking for the easy way out. He's a mama's boy and demands a great deal of attention, especially when Pops is paying more attention to Shawn. Despite the fact that these brothers are best friends, there is always that element of sibling rivalry between them. Shawn's patience is repeatedly put to the test, and often fails, when confronted by Marlon's irrepressible and often annoying ways. Although he attempts to remain adult and somewhat removed, Shawn is forever getting sucked into Marlon's wild schemes and antics.
Pops is the owner and guiding force behind the diner that bears his name. Beloved by the local regulars and the occasional celebrity, Pops is the king of his own realm. Energetic and strong-willed, Pops is not afraid to tell it like it is, and has no problems spreading his advice -- whether the guys want it or not.
When it comes to security at the Neidermeyer Building, female security guard Dee Baxter has everything under control. Despite a strong presence in the building, she turns to mush at the very mention of spending time eating or watching soap operas. Saddled with her meddling mother who moved in with her, Dee rules her domain with an iron fist and a very sharp tongue.

Agent Daggett was one of the top men in his field, assigned to protect the President of the United States, until one day when he dives away from the bullet during a failed assassination attempt on the President. While his friend, Agent Morton, takes over as head of the A-team, Daggett is re-assigned to the less glamorous B-team, protecting the First Lady, where he struggles to bring order to the unit. Some of the new challenges he must contend with are Edward Pillows, a tall, handsome guy who fancies himself a great agent, but who can't quite get his act together and Susan Cole, an overzealous female agent who sleeps three hours a night and spends the rest of the time training. In addition, Daggett has his hands full with the First Lady's secretary, Ginger Chin, a former drifter whom the First Lady met during a charity visit to the Maryland State Women's Center, Sullivan Pope, the power-mad First Lady's Chief of Staff and the First Family's beautiful teenage daughter, Camilla, the world's biggest security risk. Daggett's greatest challenge, of course, is the First Lady herself - a larger-than-life character who is brilliant, but kooky; strong, but needy; and self-absorbed, but with an endless wealth of compassion. Her public mask hides a wounded politician's wife who is determined to assert herself and take a more proactive role in the administration - even if doing so sets up rival camps between her staff and the President's team.

FAMILY GUY maker develops AMERICAN DAD

Fox gives go-ahead for pilot

Seth McFarlane is giving it another shot. The creator of FAMILY GUY (which has become a hit on DVD and in reruns on Cartoon Network) is been given the OK from Fox Television to work on a pilot for a new animated series. The series is tentatively titled AMERICAN DAD.

The family at the heart of DAD consists of a right-centered CIA agent named Stan, his wife, two kids, their pet goldfish (who happens to be French) and a resident alien -- as in extraterrestrial. McFarlane is writing the pilot with former FAMILY GUY staff writers Mike Barker and Matt Weitzman. As was the case with FAMILY GUY, McFarlane is expected to voice several of the new show's characters.

AMERICAN DAD may be ready in time for Fox's fall 2004 season.

Coming November 2004

Premise: An animated series based on the Blade comic books/movies coming to MTV.

The Flash (2004)

The WB

Coming September 2004?

Premise: The Frog is hoping to add another DC Comics superhero to its lineup as the network has made a put pilot commitment for a new drama series featuring the fastest man alive. Writer/producer Todd Komarnicki ("Resistance," "Elf") is set to write and executive produce the pilot for Warner Bros. Television via his Guy Walks Into a Bar banner. The pact includes a hefty penalty if the project isn't picked up to series.

Unlike the previous early-1990s CBS incarnation of the character, the new "Flash" will follow the "no tights, no flights" philosophy of "Smallville," which means the character won't be clad in his classic red suit. The producers also plan to incorporate time travel into the character's mythology, as the series will star a recent college graduate who discovers he has the ability to move very fast -- so fast, in fact, that he can travel backward or forward in time. It's not clear however if the lead will feature one of the monikers of the various Flash comic counterparts. Nevertheless, Komarnicki plans to feature a mentor character who will train the lead as well as the concept that he's the latest in a line of Flashes.

Joey
NBC
Coming Sept. 2004
Cast:
Matt LeBlanc - Joey Tribbianni
Premise: Matt LeBlanc continues to play Joey Tribbianni in this Friends spin-off.
Although details are few, producers have commented on earlier reports that it is likely that the Joey spin-off will feature Joey trying to make it as an actor in L.A. (which would justify his dettachment to his other Friends, who all stay in NY).
NBC has ordered a full 22 season episode season of the show, hoping it will turn it into the same hit Frasier became after long running, successful sitcom Cheers ended its run.

Untitled Method Man & RedMan Project

Fox

Coming September 2004

Premise: Method Man and Redman Team are set to star in a sitcom pilot for FOX, playing versions of themselves. The network has given a pilot commitment to the show, which comes from 20th Century Fox-affiliated Regency TV and writer.

The show will have the two rappers shaking up a mostly white neighborhood in New Jersey when they buy a house there. Method Man's mother eventually moves in to keep the boys in line.

Spacecatraz

Premise: At the moment, "Spacecatraz" is just a pilot still in production. The pilot is a spinoff of "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" created by Matt Maeillaro and Dave Willis, and produced by Williams Street. The Adult Swim pilot is expected to air in late 2003 or early 2004, but there aren't any indications whether this will become a series or not.

Zilch & Zero
Spike TV
Coming I don't know
Cast:
Unknown
Premise:
The newly rebranded Spike TV has ordered a pilot for "Zilch & Zero," a Flash animated series from John Leguizamo. The project, a co-production by Spike TV and Rebel Films, will be written by Geoffrey Whalen and Scott McCauley with Leguizamo executive producing. Here's how the channel describes the series (via press release), which is being targeted for the network's upcoming animation block: "Zilch and Zero are two best friends and comedic slackers who work in a video store and spend their day critiquing the latest films to come out on DVD. These characters are cinephiles and are consumed by movie trivia -- including anything and everything involved with the production of the flick -- right down to the dates, directors and even mishaps which occur on set. And, they love nothing more then reciting their favorite, over-the-top movie lines. ZILCH & ZERO is set in a small movie/video rental shop and features the two best friends in their daily life, which is full of hilarious interactions with friends and customers."
