Information
A 6-1 point guard, Mike is the son of former NBA player and college coach Henry Bibby. Led Arizona to a national championship as a freshman and entered the draft following his sophomore year and was selected by the Vancouver Grizzlies second overall in the 1998 NBA Draft. Traded to the Sacramento Kings before the 2001-02 season, and was one of the main factors the Kings made it to the brink of the NBA Finals when it lost to the eventual champs Los Angeles Lakers in overtime of Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals. He hit big shot after big shot in that series and now considered one of the premier point guards in the league.

- Ranked fourth in the NBA in assists in 2000-01
- Led the 1999-2000 Grizzlies in assits (8.1, 8th in the NBA) and ranked 14th in the NBA in steals (1.61) and 13th minutes (38.5)
- Tallied his first career triple-double, totaling 14 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds against the Dallas Mavericks on 4/2/00
- Finished fourth in the AT&T Shootout during the 2000 All-Star Weekend
- Participated in the Schick Rookie Challenge during the 2000 All-Star Weekend
- Named to the 1998-99 Schick All-Rookie First Team, leading the Grizzlies in assists (6.5 apg, 13th in the NBA) and steals (1.56 spg), and was one of only two Grizzlies to start all 50 games
- Led all rookies in 1998-99 in assists and ranked 3rd in scoring (13.2 ppg), steals and double-doubles (6), 7th in three-point attempts (74) and 10th in free-throw percentage (.751)
- Named Pac-10 Player of the Year and First Team All-America by the AP after averaging 17.2 ppg, 5.7 apg, 3.0 rpg and 2.40 spg as a sophomore at Arizona in 1997-98
- As a freshman, scored 20 points in the NCAA Semifinal game against North Carolina and in the NCAA title game against Kentucky and averaged 18.0 ppg, 4.8 rpg and 3.3 apg, shooting .486 (18-for-37) from three-point range, in the NCAA Tournament
- Named Pac-10 Freshman of the Year after averaging 13.5 ppg and 5.2 apg in 1996-97
