School of Rock

Worth it for: Seeing Jack Black in his best movie yet.
Plot: Fired from his band, rock guitarist and vocalist Dewey Finn (Black) takes a job as a 4th grade substitute teacher at an uptight private school where his free livin' lifestyle, attitude, music and antics soon influences the students to explore other sides of themselves the school doesn't encourage. Finn's real goal in taking the job is to recruit a 9-year-old guitar prodigy, Yuki, to become the lead guitarist in a band that would be able to win a "battle of bands", solving Finn's money problems and re-establishing him as a respected rocker.
My Thoughts: This is a great movie and very funny. Jack Black gives his best performance that I have seen so far. This movie has everything comedy, drama, a great plot, and action, okay maybe not all those things, but its still awesome. The reason I gave it a 4.9 and not a 5 was just because Kyle Gass never made an appearance or anything. I suggest if you like Jack Black or maybe even if you don't, you should buy this movie. I already told you about this movie when I saw it in the theater so I will just leave it at that.
It's Kinda like: It reminded me of Sister Act 2 because someone who is not who they say they are tries to get o group of students good enough to win a contest.
