Jersey Girl
Release Date: March 26th, 2004 (approximately 1,600 theaters); April 2nd, 2004 (expands to 2,000 theaters); April 9th, 2004 (expands to 2,500 theaters)
Cast: Ben Affleck (Ollie Trinke), Jennifer Lopez (Gertrude Steiney), Liv Tyler (Maya), Raquel Castro (Gertie Trinke), Jason Biggs (Arthur Brickman), George Carlin (Bart Trinke), Jason Lee (cameo), Matt Damon (cameo), Stephen Root (Greenie), Jennifer Schwalbach Smith (Susan), Will Smith (cameo as himself), Mike Starr (Block)
Director: Kevin Smith
Screenwriter: Kevin Smith
Premise: Here's the official premise from Miramax (from what I know about this film, they're really just describing the first act, not mentioning the daughter that is publicly known to be central to the film, or other events that cause the core characters to change drastically in the second and third acts):

"Ollie Trinke (Affleck) is young and at the top of his game as a music promoter. He is both a workaholic and a silver-tongued expert at manipulating the press. At a company Christmas party, Ollie meets Gertrude Steiney (Lopez), a book editor for a New York publishing house. They are instantly attracted to each other, and begin a whirlwind romance that changes the course of his personal and professional life..."

Fletch Won
Release Date: TBA 2006 (tentative)
Cast: None announced yet.
Director: Kevin Smith (Next up before this will be The Green Hornet; his next project after this will be the sci-fi epic, 'Ranger Danger and the Danger Rangers'; preview coming soon)
Screenwriter: Kevin Smith
Based Upon: This will be the third film based upon a book in Gregory McDonald's Fletch series, following the Chevy Chase films, Fletch and Fletch Lives. Note that this will actually be a prequel to those films; and as such will feature a new actor as Fletch.
Premise: This is the tale of how Irwin "Fletch" Fletcher got the newspaper journalist job for which he would someday become famous as a sleuth with a knack for disguise. Focusing on one of his first cases, this is the story of how Fletch is taken off a case when his subject ends up dead. Fletch continues his investigation regardless, which puts him in conflict with just about everyone, including the police, his boss, other reporters, etc. Along the way, he also hones the art of disguise that will later become his trademark...

Clerks: Sell Out
Release Date: TBA 2005/2006/2007 (possibly direct-to-video)
Release Date Notes: (1/14/04) Kevin Smith mentioned recently at his official site that he is now considering doing a series of 'Clerks' animated movies, but that they would be direct-to-video, not theatrical releases (as reprinted over at NewsAskew.com).

Cast: (voices) Brian O'Halloran (Dante Hicks), Jeff Anderson (Randal Graves), Jason Mewes (Jay), Kevin Smith (Silent Bob); other cast not announced yet (obviously, Smith's "voice work" may be minimal)
Based Upon: The extremely short-lived animated 2000 TV show on ABC, which was based on the popular 1994 film, Clerks. How short? Of six episodes, ABC only aired TWO. Clerks: The Animated Series went from being a heralded project to getting shuffled off for a quick cancellation. Amazing. Anyway, the six episodes are being released on DVD and VHS on February 20th, 2001. The DVD has so many extra goodies, it'll be a 2-DVD package. I've seen the 6th and final episode; it's much funnier than the two that aired. Heck, the DVD's are worth at least a rent just for it. Fans, of course, will want to have the DVD's for their own.
Premise: Dante and Randal decide to make an ultra-cheap black-and-white movie about their wacky experiences at the Quick-Stop. Yes, this animated movie is what you think it is. (Except this time, "Silent Bob" won't be directing... and yet, in another way, he will. Whoa...)

As a man without a home, he takes up residence in the terminal itself, befriending the staff of the airport, and falling in love with an airline flight attendant (Zeta-Jones)... (McBride plays a baggage carousel worker who uses his job to run a private business on the side; Tucci plays an Immigration and Naturalization Dept. representative; Nouri plays CZJ's love interest)

The Three Stooges
Release Date: Summer, 2005
Cast: None announced yet.
Director: Bobby Farelly and Peter Farrelly (codirectors of There's Something About Mary, Me, Myself & Irene; their latest before this is Stuck on You)
Based Upon: Although this is inspired by the Three Stooges, this film is not based upon any particular Stooges film, or upon their lives. Like Charlie's Angels, it will simply feature a new trio of Stooges, set in modern times, with a new story. Although there were several Stooges in the "Three Stooges" troupe, this film will concentrate on the three most famous characters created by Larry Fine, Moe Howard, and Jerome "Curly" Howard. The other three Stooges were, in order, Samuel "Shemp" Howard (actually one of the original three), Joe Besser, and "Curly-Joe" DeRita. The Three Stooges concept is one that comedians have tried to revive for over 20 years, going all the way back to Mel Brooks, who made Silent Movie instead. Joe DeRita was the last Stooge in more than one way, joining the other five Stooges in the great slapstick beyond in 1993.
Premise: (7/2/01) There are no details about the premise of this new Stooges installment yet, except that it's set in modern Los Angeles, and will feature three of today's comedians playing Larry, Moe, and Curly.
